*Here are some factors that will cause your semi-permanent tattoo to fade faster:
● Oily Skin
● Retinol or Vitamin C
● Iron deficiency
● Hyperthyroidism
● Sun exposure
● Exfoliants/Peels/Resurfacing
● Exposure to Salt Water and Chlorine
● High Metabolism/Excessive Exercise
● Skin/Dark Spot Lightening Agents
● Lash Growth serums may affect lash line enhancement retention

Long Term Care:
● Wear a hat or stay in the shade with exposed to the sun
● Please inform your technician and/or care provider of your permanent cosmetics with any future MRI scans, chemical peels, or laser procedures.
● Use of Retin A/Retinol/Tretinoin, chemical, acid peels, or any rapid skin exfoliation products used near the area will cause the permanent makeup to fade prematurely SO AVOID THE TATTOOED AREA IF POSSIBLE.
● Use spf on your tattoo for increased longevity
● Please be aware that the result of the procedure is depending on the following: medications and health conditions, skin conditions such as oily, unhealthy, dry/flaky, loose and/or lax skin, poor diet and not following the aftercare instructions. All of these things can affect your healed results.  Antacids, thyroid, and anxiety medications have been reported as interfering with permanent makeup either by affecting retention or shifting the pigment to an undesirable tone. With that information, an educated client may have better expectations and know that they may need more frequent adjustments than others. The better you take care of your skin and protect it from UV rays, the better the outcome and lifespan of permanent cosmetic procedures.

Yes, however, on the first session, we will have to color correct your lips to cancel out the cool tones. This means the initial color we tattoo must be orange based! If we are to tattoo any other color, you risk darkening your lips further or having no results at all. Note that results cannot be guaranteed and lightening or evening out dark lips or covering fordyce spots make take a few sessions. *Extreme cases may not be accepted for this procedure. Please send a picture prior to schedule and make sure to schedule an in person complimentary consultation with Jessie.

Touch ups are recommended for everybody but in some cases only one session will be needed to achieve certain desired results. Touch ups are scheduled 6-12 weeks after your initial appointment. Clients with dark pigment correction or age 45 or older are encouraged to book closer to 10 weeks out. Due to the uniqueness of each individual and the superficial nature of the tattoo itself, touch ups provide an opportunity to assess how your skin responds to the procedure. On touch up sessions, we can alter the shape and color of your tattoo or go bolder or fill in spots that didn’t retain pigment as well as others
during healing. Touch ups will also add longevity to the life of your tattoo. Please read the FAQs and Care Pages to ensure you have waited long enough from laser treatments, filler, or botox, etc to have a touch up done. You will follow the same pre and post care for initial procedure, touch ups and annual refreshers.
Other than lash line enhancements, these touch up sessions are not included in the initial price and need to be booked between 6-12 weeks from the time of your first session.

All coverups must be pre-approved before booking. Please send a photo in natural light via the contact page on this website.

cannot guarantee the results for corrective/coverup work. If the previous tattoo is too dark, large, discolored, tattoo removal is recommended before booking an appointment for new cosmetic tattoo, to achieve the best results. Corrective/coverup work will generally
require multiple sessions for best results and additional touch ups will be charged accordingly.

Cetaphil, Cerave, Dr. Bronners Baby Unscented Pure-Castile Liquid Soap and Hustle Butter Hustle Bubbles Deluxe are great options to wash your tattoo with or anything I provide in your aftercare kit. You will need a cleanser that is gentle and fragrance free. Vitamin A&D Ointment, Aquaphor, Hustle Butter, Badger Tattoo Balm, will work to moisturize. Please avoid products that are petroleum based, antibiotic creams, and neosporin). The thick consistency of petroleum jelly prevents the wound from breathing, which slows down the healing process, and the physical barrier causes sweating underneath and may trap dirt and bacteria.

It is slightly uncomfortable but completely bearable. Jessie uses numbing throughout and her technique is extremely gentle. If you are nervous about pain, you may take 1-2 Tylenol 30 minutes before your appointment. DO NOT take Advil or drink a coffee before your appointment. Coffee and Advil will cause you to bleed lots and also make you more sensitive during the procedure. Do not schedule during your menstrual cycle as this can also make you more sensitive to pain. Following pre care carefully will also ensure a smoother process.
